So many words are written about Shrewsbury's famous son, but the real Mr Darwin returns to see a statue of himself outside his old school. He thinks that this makes him look bookish and learned, but he tells us that he was really a scamp when he joined Dr Butler's great school just over 200 years ago.

And so he reflects upon his childhood, his voyage, his friends, and how his thoughts developed - and finally how he comes to write his Origins....

A one man show designed for a little lunchtime thinking, written and performed by Robin Case.
